About us
Founded in Guildford in 2024 by a group of up-and-coming young artists, The Surrey Singers are an organisation proud to do things differently. We strive to bring classical music to audiences in an innovative way, showcasing our talents as soloists and as an ensemble in a relaxed environment tailored to both existing fans of the genre and those who are new to it.With sold-out concerts, rapturous audiences, special guest and surprises galore each concert is a unique experience for all to enjoy.

Olivia
A London-based lyric soprano trained under Jane Highfield, she made her operatic solo debut as Kate in "The Yeomen of the Guard" and has since performed several roles including Peep-Bo (“The Mikado”), Zerlina (“Don Giovanni”), with a standout performance as Barbarina in Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro" and upcoming performance as Gianetta in Donizetti’s “L’Elisir d’Amore".
Ed
A graduate of Music at the University of Surrey he has performed supporting roles in operas by Verdi, Lehar, and Tchaikovsky. Ed recently made his professional debut as a baritone soloist in Brahms' German Requiem with the Occam Singers. He is the Co-founder and Artistic Director of the Surrey Singers, and is known for his long association with Guildford Opera Company and his work in professional choral music.
Alex
A terrific tenor soloist and Music graduate of the University of Surrey, he has been singing for 11 years in various operas, including "The Magic of Figaro" and "The Mikado," with principal roles in "Semele," "Don Giovanni," and "Ruddigore" in 2024.
Gigi
Gigi is an actor-musician, producer and facilitator; splitting her time between Nottingham, London, Surrey, and Washington DC. Gigi co-founded and Lead Produces for Int(eruption) Theatre Company and is currently producing SUNLAND for the Camden Fringe. Performance credits include: Bearable Sequence (The Golden Goose Theatre); Swan Song the Musical (The Bridge House Theatre).Gigi is represented by North Artist Management.
